Professional Ethics
We have a belief in the importance of respecting and valuing all human beings, irrespective
of race and culture. Our practice has always been located in culturally diverse environments
with many different cultural, ethnic and religious communities. We are committed to culturally
sensitive, anti-racist and non-discriminatory practice that promotes equality and respect for all
clients and professionals we work with.
We have many years of experience in working with children and families from culturally diverse
background and communities. We value and appreciate the diversity our clients and the
professionals we work with bring to the process of collaborative working. We offer opportunities
to explore and address the issues of social differences in our practice within such contexts as
gender, religion, race, age, ability, culture, class, education, ethnicity, sexuality and spirituality.
As qualified Family Therapists we are registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy
(UKCP). We are strongly committed to maintain UKCP Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct. |
